Islamic Revolution of Iran source of Islamic proximity - Sunni cleric

AhlulBayt News Agency: Friday prayer imam of Aq QalaFriday prayer imam of Aq Qala, Akhund Mirza Ali, stated that the Islamic Revolution breathed new life into the Islamic world, revitalizing societies that had been stagnant and contributing significantly to the awakening and awareness of Muslims, as well as the expansion of effective religious activities in Islamic countries.

From the very beginning, one of the Revolution’s central concerns has been the Muslim world and its issues.Mirza‑Ali explained that the establishment of the Islamic Revolution by its great architect, Imam Khomeini, was carried out with deep wisdom, clarity, and profound Islamic insight. “With his divine spirit and deep Islamic thought, Imam Khomeini brought about transformative changes in the world,” he said.

The Sunni scholar added: “Today, if Islamic societies have achieved a degree ofunity and cohesion, if they have understood the meaning of Islamic solidarity, and if they have accepted and implemented Islamic structures, it is the result of the Islamic Revolution.”

He stressed that it is the duty of all Muslims to appreciate the value of this Revolution and the unity it has fostered, to support and protect it, and to work harder to promote its message.

“Unity and proximity are not tactical tools or temporary political strategies,” he said. “Rather, unity is a fundamental religious principle shared by Muslims across the world.”

In conclusion, Mirza‑Ali emphasized: “We must be grateful to God Almighty for granting us this divine blessing—the Revolution that brought Islamic schools of thought closer together, especially the Sunni and Shia communities. Today, all Muslims plan and act with the shared goal of strengthening the dignity of the Islamic Ummah and weakening the objectives of the enemies of Islam.”
